Operated by Regional & City Airports and owned by Fareham Borough Council since April 2015, Lee on Solent Daedalus Airfield (EGHF) is an old HMS Airfield that has, with the support and investment of the Homes & Communities Agency started a huge transformation programme, developing through strategic partnering including the Solent Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), Local Government including Fareham and Gosport Borough Council and Hampshire County Council. Daedalus; as it is locally known, is sited proudly within the Solent Enterprise Zone (www.solentez.com) and is part of a huge drive to build economic growth including investment into jobs and infrastructure for the local community.
