Our mission involves empowering survivors through a trauma-informed/trauma-focused approach, providing access to education, medical support, spiritual guidance, workforce development, and behavioral trauma health interventions.GOALS: PROVIDING A SAFE SPACE WHERE EMPOWERMENT & SUPPORT IS HOLISTICALLY GIVEN.PROGRAM DETAILS:London's Haven is a short-term shelter in Nigeria servicing trafficked and exploited victims throughout Africa. The shelter is located in Benue state, Nigeria. London's Haven houses both males and females who have been identified by National Agency For The Prohibition Of Trafficking In Persons (NAPTIP), and other agencies service trafficked victims. This shelter provides a three-month access to its residents to bridge a gap by providing a safe space while they engage with the components of the program to set up relocation, highlight independence, and structure adequate support to ensure proper transition occurs. London's Haven receives referrals of victims from local organizational partners. Each referred victim completes the assessment provided by London's Haven for program entry.
