• Generate Oil and Gas ProspectsMy company is named after my great-great-great-grandfather Samuel Augustus Maverick, a signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence, a mayor of San Antonio, and would have died defending the Alamo had he not been called away to Washington-on-the-Brazos to sign the Declaration. After the Battle, he and other citizens were captured by Santa Anna and marched down to the Perote prison where he had to subside by eating cocroaches for over a year until he was released. The term "Maverick" has come to connote an independent thinker who blazes their own trails. One who has their own special gift of intuition and application. The vision of this company is the vision of a Maverick: To bring independent thinking and innovative ideas to oil and gas drilling while staying fair and honest to all it serves.
