I am a qualified & professionally registered Operating Department Practitioner, and also a qualified & professionally registered veterinary nurse. I'm enhanced DBS (criminal records) checked & clear so you can rest assured you're in safe hands! Having worked in Anaesthetics in the NHS i have gained hugely valuable skills in resuscitation. Working in this environment really opened my eyes to the importance for the general public to be familiar and confident in life saving skills, as the actions taken by bystanders in those first few minutes in an emergency really can mean the difference between life and death for someone. The UK currently has one of the worst survival rates for out of hospital cardiac arrests. This is sadly because people are often not familiar or confident to carry out life saving actions such as CPR. It's a very sad fact that your survival could simply depend on who's standing next to you at a time when you need urgent help. I want to really empower people to build their confidence in these skills, and overcome any fears or concerns they may have. Our workshops & training are really good fun - we won't subject you to any unpleasant or upsetting stories!
