Melting Box is an Italian no-profit association founded in 2020 in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic by joining the passion and the ideals of several EU citizens. Melting box has different professional backgrounds, from communication to social inclusion, from project management to migration and asylum field. Our goal is to build new patterns mixing together local needs with an international perspective. The association aims to avoid the fragmentation of social society efforts, by promoting processes of social connection and cultural contamination. Our challenge is to create and reinforce the network of European associations focused on the field of social inclusion and multicultural integration, in order to multiply successful projects and good practices. We do import export...of social practices! Our strategy is a process of dissemination and multiplication of good project and ideas among EU countries and on the Italian territory. Our goal is to match international good practices with local needs and specificities, contributing to build an Europe focused on inclusion, participation and social integration.
