Mercurial Theatre formed in 2016 as an experimental, speculative theatre company based in Austin, TX. Inspired by classic radio and films of noir and mystery, suspense and horror, and actors and directors of stage and screen alike, Mercurial creates unique, memorable experiences. We specialize in entirely original works, conceiving and writing our own stories and sometimes adapting difficult source material for the stage for the first time. We're never comfortable with what's safe, instead choosing always to do what scares us the most.
