MBW provides Aquatic Bodywork training with a Somatic approach - an understanding of the body-mind interconnection with a trauma-sensitive focus and an emphasis on organic movement. The school was founded in 2014 under the name of the British School of Aquatic Bodywork. Through our former name we have taught, besides England, in Scotland, Germany, Norway, Italy, Greece, Hungary, Croatia, Iceland and Japan. The name change follows a transition towards a more integrated approach and an international visibility. Our ethos is that we don't teach but we provide a platform for exploration and discovery, where students learn and develop fast and in their own right towards their individual potential.
