Minnesota Bookbuilders is a nonprofit association founded to promote the highest standards of craftsmanship in bookmaking and publishing and to provide a means whereby those engaged in these enterprises can assist each other by an exchange of ideas, information, and experiences. The Association aims to promote a spirit of good fellowship and friendly cooperation among its members.The Association exists to encourage understanding and promote innovation among all the professions and trades within the book industry. We recognize that the term BOOKBUILDERS comprises the functions of book editing — the conception, planning, and preparation of the content of a book in cooperation with the author; book design — the conception, planning, and specifying of the physical and visual attributes of a book; and book production — the execution of the physical and visual attributes of the book.
