Model United Nations at Binghamton University is an organization revolving around pluralism and compromise. We teach our delegates the basics of Model UN procedure and foster a debate styled after the actual UN on topics of global concern. Throughout the year we host mock debates and other events based around real world subjects, with the goal in mind being to prepare our delegates for a conference on the national or international stage. Through our efforts we hope to improve our members debate and public speaking skills, cultural and political awareness and ability to coordinate and work with people sharing differing world views and outlooks.
