The Model United Nations Society, VIT (MUNSoc) encourages students from Vellore Institute of Technology to participate competitively in Model United Nations (MUNs) all around the country.We train ourselves rigorously in the areas of public speaking and writing not just to prove ourselves in some of the most competitive MUN circuits across the country, but more importantly because we value discussions on global politics. We are the organizers of one of the finest MUN conferences of South India. However, our aim is to produce speakers that transcend MUNs and excel at even other forms of debating. Thus, we are also responsible for a number of public speaking events on campus that cover a diverse range of issues.
