Mountbatten Hampshire (formerly Countess Mountbatten Hospice) provides practical, medical and emotional support to over 3,000 people every year with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses in Southampton and across west Hampshire. This support is not only given to the patients but also their carers and families throughout illness and bereavement. In April 2019 a collaboration between Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, known as the Mountbatten Group, created one of the largest providers of hospice and end of life care in England.Mountbatten Hampshire is a registered charity (number 1123304). It costs £8m per year to run our services in Hampshire (£8m). The NHS commissions and pays for some of our services however the majority of our income comes from fundraising, grants, legacies and retail activities.For more information visit our website.
