The NGS Competence Center Tübingen (NCCT) was established in 2018 with funding from the German Research Foundation (DFG). The NCCT provides DNA and RNA sequencing services for academic researchers and industrial partners. Our overall aim is to develop novel sequencing applications for human health.We offer automated services to improve the reproducibility of our services, and a broad portfolio of sequencing solutions using the latest Illumina, Pacific Biosciences, and Oxford Nanopore Technologies platforms. In collaboration with the Quantitative Biology Center (QBiC), NCCT builds on established core facility structures and integrates with the existing infrastructure for data management and bioinformatics support.The NCCT is part of the NGS-CN network, which aims to strengthen the use of high-throughput sequencing methods in Germany.
