Natural Shea and Textiles grew out of our passion for making homemade natural bath and body products for sensitive skin. We wanted to figure out a way to grow our business here in the U.S.A. while providing support and exposure to Accra, Ghana's local farmers, artisans, and small business owners, so that they too could grow their own businesses and brands in West Africa. We are a small Black-owned, family-owned company based in New York City and our mission has expanded to curating unique Afrocentric products for global customers who not only want to eliminate chemical laden products from their bathroom cabinets, but who also love to show off their eclectic, bohemian style. We import handmade jewelry, Afrocentric fabric/textiles, and other stylish accessories directly from Ghanaian artisans.​One thing that sets us apart from the rest, is that the ingredients we use to make our homemade body butters and body washes in New York City include imported, natural Ghanaian Shea Butter and authentic Ghanaian Black Soap respectively. Also, all of our body butter bases, soap bases, accessories, and textiles are handmade with love and care in Ghana by women's cooperatives. Your support helps us to continue to support them!
