Mission:The Netherlands Institute for Vectors, Invasive plants and Plant health (NIVIP) is the knowledge center and authority worldwide in the fields of plant health, invasive plants, biological control agents and vectors of human and animal diseases. Our goal is to minimize ecological, economic and social risks and damage, as well as health risks in these fields.Vision:Our expertise in the fields of plant health, invasive plants, biological control agents and vectors of human and animal diseases, is the foundation for the Netherlands to meet international obligations, as required by international treaties and legislation. We aide policymakers and executive organizations to act (inter)nationally authoritative and effective in order to combat harmful organisms and plants.
