The Northern Forest Canoe Trail is a world class model of wilderness adventure, economic development, and rural youth programming along 740 miles of rivers and lakes, from the Adirondacks of New York to the Allagash of Maine. It represents a grassroots, door-to-door effort to build a network of community partners with a vested interest in back country appreciation and North Country vitality.
