ONE3 English is an online English tutoring service created and run by English language teachers. It was born out of the COVID-19 global crisis, when many businesses either went bust or ventured online in their struggle to stay afloat.Our team of professionals were ESL teachers in the English language department of an Australian university, where we worked side by side doing what we loved. When the pandemic struck, the industry took a direct hit and many long-term, experienced and dedicated teachers were left without jobs. As the dust settled, we realised that of all the different things that we missed about our jobs, the interaction and partnership with students was what stood out. We are, after all, teachers at heart, and therein lies our calling. We decided that if students can't come to us because the borders are closed, we will go to them... online.
