It all began back in 2007 when the founder, Ben Grist was a student studying his A-levels. He started a business building beautiful chicken coops, and through this venture he met notonthehighstreet.com. In 2012 whilst at Uni, he launched Oakdene Designs, designing and creating a lovely range of personalised gifts.The main aspect of our business is that we are NOT a reseller. Our team, made up of an average age of 25, design, manufacture and package all our products in our converted barn/workshop in Surrey. We try our hardest to use local and UK based suppliers for parts we cannot manufacture ourselves. For example, our all our cushion fillings are supplied from a family run business only 2 miles away from us.
