At OST-C we are help individuals successfully transition into the skilled trade labor market in construction, healthcare, manufacturing, transportation and oil & gas industries. Our mission is to provide skills training, hazard recognition, technical leadership, expertise and services, in the evaluation and control of workplace safety compliance. Our Outreach Training Center can assess, evaluate and customize your occupational needs. The OST-C teaching philosophy is based on demonstration and student performance. Students spend the majority of their time in our classroom learning safe, efficient, and effective industry techniques.The participants in our field lab receive hands-on experience in the recognition, avoidance and prevention of job safety hazards on a mocked jobsite. Participants receive a certificate of completion for attendance in OSHA's guidelines for safety.The OST-C curriculum is based on industry practices and is recognized for delivering successful graduates. The OST-C Three-Level Curriculum includes an introduction to skilled labor, heavy equipment engineer, and customized corporate training. OST-C experienced instructors help mold students into well-trained industry experts prepared for the job.OST-C's Consultant Response Team (OST-C/CRT) can help assess the source and extent of training needs for most organizations. OST-C/CRT can also help determine feasibility of administrative, engineering and PPE appropriate controls.
