He has enjoyed making cards and gifts for others ever since he was a little boy. When he was 11, he decided to make a combination candy dispenser greeting card for a friend who loved sweets. He could not find any how-to videos on YouTube so he realized he'd have to figure it out himself. After hours of experimenting, he had a working machine built out of items he'd salvaged from the recycling bin and his art supply stash. On the back he wrote "Have a Sweet Birthday!" The look of joy and wonder on his friend's face would go on to spark OctoGifts. In January of 2019, he revisited this idea and redesigned his card in the shape of a heart for Valentine's Day. When his cards sold out within hours on Etsy, he knew he was onto something. Since then he has released several more designs, made the 2019 Atlanta Business Chronicle's 25 under 25 list, and appeared in numerous publications including the Alpharetta-Roswell Herald and the Forsyth County News. In his spare time, Sebastian enjoys competitive swimming and robotics. He wants to be a mechanical engineer when he grows up.
