One Thousand Rats are a small indie designer and publisher of board games, based in Meanjin. Recently successfully funding our first Kickstarter for their newest game, Curses and Covens, One Thousand Rats are a regular feature at Australian conventions with a wide variety of merch designed in-house, as well as a small but growing collection of self-designed games. OTR games are recognizable by a cute and distinctive art style, appealing themes, unique and exciting mechanics, and the loveable rat mascot Reece. One Thousand Rats hope to influence the board game world by making accessible games that are high-quality, ethically manufactured, and with a minimal impact on our environment.
