Open AR Cloud (OARC) is a US non-profit association whose mission is to create an open, interoperable framework for spatial computing that respects the rights, privacy, and intentions of individuals and contributors. Founded in 2018, the OARC has nearly 300-members and 40 partners from around the globe. Members and partners meet regularly online and at industry events. OARC uses working groups to identify and address the goals, challenges, resources, and working solutions to the hard problems of building a public utility (Open AR Cloud) that will support spatial computing going forward.
