Open Streets PHL's primary objective is to provide free and fun recreation to all members of the community by temporarily closing select streets to vehicle traffic while opening them up to endless possibilities of people-powered movement.We seek to ensure designated streets are alive with fitness, music, dancing, arts and culture. Adults and children alike will delight in the people-powered movement of active transportation during these events focused on community, socializing, and fitness.Open Streets PHL celebrates the features of our city parks, roadways, and neighborhood business communities while aiming to improve public health for adults and children of all cultures, incomes, and physical ability.
