This Operation Babylift website is designed to be an online resource, offering information, advice and guidance for: * adults who were adopted from Vietnam during the 1970s (either part of Operation Babylift, the mass evacuation of Vietnamese babies and children at the end of the Vietnam War in 1975), or independently, before or after Babylift. * adults who helped in Operation Babylift, either as nurses, orphanage workers, volunteers, flight crew. * children of the Vietnamese adoptees, otherwise known as "the second generation". * parents of the Vietnamese adoptees, either adoptive parents or birth parents. * students who are studying history, psychology, sociology or any other subject where the Vietnam War, adoption (the effects of), inter- or trans-racial adoption (the effects of), or any other effects that adoption has on society, families, etc.This site is also designed to help connect with other sites that offer information and resources with regard to any of the above.
