The product that we are looking to develop is a video game that teaches basic to intermediate piano concepts via fun and popular songs. It is based on a number method (patent pending) that simplifies the concept of reading music tremendously. Students are currently using the method in virtual form on our website, which is going great and helps the students progress rapidly. The method also has standard musical symbols and concepts which helps build a foundation for future study, should the user desire to move to reading music after initial exposure via the proposed video game.
