With a mission to support teachers with funds to supplement and expand curricular programs in lower income school environments, Opportunity GrantED strives to alleviate financial strain for teachers while enriching the lives of students. Founded in Fall 2018, Opportunity GrantED's primary goal of assisting public school teachers working in lower-income communities with additional funding and resources for their classrooms that is not covered by district budgets, our grant program applies to school classrooms grades Kindergarten through 12th grade. With plans for teachers to apply for grants bi-annually (fall & spring), the foundation will purchase items from approved grants for immediate use in classrooms. Qualifying items include but are not limited to: supplemental materials, supplies, books, and/or additional equipment to support the teachers in their curriculums to enrich the children's educational experience.
