With package density of up to 640units per strip, such packages are used for a variety of IC application, from OPTICAL MOUSE, LED , FIBER OPTIC, MEMS Sensors (Proximity Switch, Timing clock chip, PIR , RF) and more. QFN Open Cavity opens up newer application especially Sensors and many are found in today's Smart Phone, Tablets, and Gaming Machines.
