OrangKita Promotions is a wholly Malaysian-owned company, based in Dublin. Created in 2006, the company has gone from strength to strength, becoming the leading organiser of Malaysian-oriented activities within Ireland. The company now looks set to expand its areas of operations into the neighbouring UK market. Our Objective OrangKita Promotions' immediate objective is to introduce our uniquely Malaysian flair, both in cuisine and music to a whole new market while fulfilling the needs and wants of the substantial local Malaysian presence. We aim to do this in two ways:Music EventsOur immediate primary objective is to build on our brand name as the premier organiser of music events, bringing our Malaysian artistes to perform here in Ireland and the UK. To this end, we successfully organized a concert with M. Nasir in Dublin in 2008 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFlUDSPl7pw&feature=related). We are currently confirming details with Malaysia's legendary rock group Search who is scheduled to perform in Ireland and the UK in February 2010. Event CateringWe aim to be the sole name in the catering of Malaysian cuisine, both for corporate and social events. At the moment, we are the caterer of choice for the Malaysian Consulate in Dublin. We have also successfully organized and catered for the first ever Malaysian Family Day in Ireland, an event which we aim to make an annual affair. Our Long-term GoalsCounting among our members an impressive number of highly-qualified, experienced and skilled hospitality, financial and business professionals, we are uniquely positioned to conceptualise, organize and manage projects from inception to completion. As we build further on our brand name, OrangKita Promotions aims to broaden our horizons, moving beyond music and catering into other potentially exciting areas such as restaurants, travel and television.
