International Living just voted Ecuador the number one country for retirement. Although Canadians know little about the country they are searching for places with a lower cost of living, better weather, stable government and friendly people. Ecuador fits the bill. Although WelcomeToEcuador.ca is the primary site to provide an overview of the country and information on subjects like immigration, sites have been registered for the major cities in Ecuador; namely, Banos, Cotacachi, Cuenca, Guayaquil, Quito and Vilcabamba. These sites not only provide location specific information but will also feature local Business Directories, something that is a critical need in these areas. We are also very fortunate to be working with the Ecuadorian Embassy in Canada who authorized us to use the official tourism logo on our site, which is exclusive to us. They have also promised to give us first notice on any plans by the government. We are willing to sell 40% but the funding must be early.
