Org-Verlag Mademann was founded by Bruno Mademann after the Second World War. He developed the Org Council ring binder system, which stood for effective organization. The publishing house grew rapidly and built up a loyal customer base. Under the leadership of Hans-Henning Mademann, new ring binder formats were introduced. The publishing house moved several times within Berlin before finding its permanent home in Reinickendorf in 1993. After the death of Hans-Henning Mademann, Karsten Kossatz took over the management of the publishing house and brought a breath of fresh air into the company, while retaining the proven principles. The publishing house was modernized and continues to emphasize sustainability, individuality and style. Today, Org Publishing focuses on helping people organize their everyday lives and promoting the luxury of offline living.
