Organic Standard is an impact-driven non-for-profit social start-up based in Zurich, Switzerland.We develop our own sustainable farming projects in Switzerland and engage in the marketing and sale of voluntary carbon-offset certificates to private persons and enterprises that wish to offset their environmental footprint in Switzerland.Organic Standard has already realized 5 biochar composting and manure treatment pilot projects with farmers across Switzerland, improving the soil fertility on more than 152 hectares of farmland, making 283 cows happier and healthier and reducing more than 58.1 tons of CO2 per year. We have the potential to achieve 48,616 tons of annual CO2 reductions in Switzerland by 2025.
