ERF Wireless was founded in 2004 as a "Critical Communications Infrastructure" public company with the express objective of applying advanced wireless broadband technology and other communications technology to a select suite of enterprise, commercial and retail critical communications needs in order to build shareholder value. Since that time, the company's strategic business plan has been to buy the "best of breed" Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISPs) providing broadband services in rural areas and increase their profits exponentially.
