We, the students of Ouachita Baptist University, in order to provide means for responsible and effective participation in the organization of student affairs; to investigate student problems; to provide activities for students; to initiate actions; to provide the official voice through which student opinion may be expressed; to encourage the responsible participation of the students in overall policy and decision making processes of the university community; to enhance the quality and scope of education, do establish this constitution for the associated students of Ouachita Baptist University.
