Our Eyes Were Opened, Inc. grew out of interacting with people who really wanted to help those who live in poverty. In their efforts, many of these people made a bad situation worse or they got angry with the very people they wanted to help, primarily due to a lack of knowledge about the situation. In order to educate and enhance their mindsets, OEWO facilitates poverty simulations, lead poverty tours, offer workshops and our Founder & CEO has written several books centered around the topic.
