Our Kids To Yours LLC is the brainchild of Kim and Zoe. We are moms of young children recognizing the needs of parents and children alike for structure, education, and harmony within the home. Our Kids To Yours LLC is a startup company whose mission is to create fun and educational materials that facilitate these needs.Our first product to market is Do-N-SlideTM, a versatile tool that addresses each of these needs in a variety of circumstances, and across a number of age groups.The idea behind Do-N-SlideTM arose from the frequent use of picture communication symbols in Co-Founder Kim's daily work as a Speech Language Pathologist. Kim is a qualified speech therapist who has been working with children from many socioeconomic backgrounds, with varying degrees of disabilities and speech delays for over 12 years. Kim noticed how well children responded to picture symbols or lists when used to structure a treatment session, or to teach the steps involved in learning a new task. After making 'picture lists' by hand for years, Kim became frustrated that there were no products on the market that she could recommend to colleagues, patients or teachers that would be flexible enough to function in multiple environments without the usual fuss associated with making them at home. Do-N-Slide arose from her desire to help make the benefits of visual schedules readily available, and simple to implement….we think we've created something worthwhile, so take a look and see what you think!
