The Oxford Armenia Foundation was created in December 2020. The decision to set up OAF came as a response to the aftermath of the devastating 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh/Artsakh war that has left nearly a hundred thousand of Armenians displaced and uprooted and has caused a deep socioeconomic crisis in Armenia. In these dire times for Armenia and Armenians, our team has come together to give back to the country that made us who we are and to contribute to its brighter future.We believe that poverty in Armenia can only be eradicated with high quality education.We strive to create equal opportunities for vulnerable children in rural Armenia. We nurture creativity, leadership, critical and analytical thinking.
