Lowland Rescue Oxfordshire (OxSAR) is a volunteer unit available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.Our main role is to assist the Police service with vulnerable missing person searches across Oxfordshire and other search teams in the surrounding counties. OxSAR is also available to support the emergency services, county council and other agencies in the event of a major incident.OxSAR receives no government funding and we are only able to continue our life saving work through the kind support of the public.In addition to serving vulnerable missing people in Oxfordshire, OxSAR are frequently requested to assist other ALSAR teams all over the country.
