PACT is a responsive, community-based K-12 public charter school built on a committed partnership between parents, students, and teachers. Together we are striving to achieve strong moral character and excellence in education. The teachers, administration, and students' parents are the sole entity operating the school, and in a working partnership, they determine the curriculum, schedules, and programs. PACT focuses on core academics to prepare students for college and lifelong learning.PACT provides a positive, safe learning environment for each student. Our goal is to instill a life-long love of learning and the ability to learn how to learn. We are a public charter school open to any student in Minnesota. There is no tuition charged, and transportation is provided within the Anoka-Hennepin district boundaries. We have more than 650 students from kindergarten through grade 12 plus extensive extracurricular opportunities.PACT helps students develop a strong sense of self-worth and respect for others and the world around them. We encourage them to recognize his or her ability to contribute something unique to our society.Quick Facts:- Tuition-free- 650 students enrolled in grades K-12- Small class sizes with a 16:1 student-teacher ratio- School hours are 8 a.m.-3:05 p.m.- Character-focused and monthly character awards- Student support services- Hot lunch program- 1:1 Chromebooks (Secondary)- Educational field trips- Maximized learning allows for fewer school days than other districts- Free transportation provided within the Anoka-Hennepin school district boundaries using park-and-ride stops- Open enrollment occurs between September 1 - January 15; an enrollment lottery occurs on February 15- Secondary exploratory courses allow students and educators an opportunity to explore new topics of interest- 88% graduation rate
