PROSES is a local Non-Government Organization (NGO) sets up in 2010 by a group of progressive dedicated youths. Moved by the sorrows and distress of the poor and oppressed humanity, victim of socio-economic discrimination in respect of class, cast, creed and gender, a group of educated youth inspired by an inherent to form an organization, as a tool for materialization of their dream – the dream of a democratic society within a stable ecosystem, based on sustainable economic equity and social justice.Since then, the upper southwest region of Bangladesh was under poverty, disability and disaster porn especially at the greater Khulna district for several years; as human intervention had collapsed the natural life lied/system. In the year of 2010, at the Khulna city corporation area, PROSES started disable health and education care center by supporting 20 disable children of the irritated community as well to support their family PROSES opened a school and physiotherapy center. Moreover, gradually this intervention turned into holistic development program as per the needs of the community. In 2011, PROSES got registration from NGO Affairs bureau of Bangladesh government to act as a formal NGO all over the country. PROSES's emergence in development scenario is not just an incident. It is in fact out of socio-cultural necessity of southwest region.
