Simultaneously, they are focused on increasingsales to general repair professionals and thereby increasing the current 30% commercial versus 70% DIY sales mixture. Driveline products significantly aid this effort, but retailers have limited options for reliablesupply programs for remanufactured transmissions.Primary Products Remanufactured automatic transmissions; and related torque converters. Because immobilization of the vehicle results from failure of these components, these parts are highly demand-driven, and consumers have a very difficult time deferring repairs.Automatic Transmissions: PTS Reman currently remanufactures automatic transmissions for automobiles and light trucks covering more than 17,000 applications with 1440 internal part numbers required by current model year and back 15 years. A comprehensive electronic catalog, customized by PTS Remanprovides accurate identification of the correct unit for the customer and facilitates e-commerce transactions. Remanufactured transmissions carry warranties of up to 3years/Unlimited miles.Torque Converters: The Company began remanufacturing torque converters in order to support its transmission remanufacturing operations; and, through its electronic catalog, has the ability to selltorque converters as an additional future e-commerce product line to its existing customer base. Internal Parts: PTS Reman remanufactures certain internal parts to support the requirements of its transmission production lines, primarily: pumps, valve bodies, planetary gears, and, electroniccomponents.Product Support 15 years or newer. OEMs generally support replacement transmissions to customers with warranty claims and that is normally within 3 to 5 years of purchase date. The aftermarket that supports the US fleet ofvehicles for replacement/repair needs up to 15 years of age. Vehicles older than 15 years rarely can support the replacement expense of major driveline replacements.Facility PTS Reman (formerly Powertrain Solutions) moved into, configured, and equipped its present facility containing 50,000 sq. ft. (expandable to 185,000 sq, ft.) of manufacturing storage space in 2014. Remanufacturing operations have been centrally located in Georgia near the airport to enable quick delivery by all types of transportation.
