Founded in 1996, the Partners In Excellence (PIE) Scholarship program of the Archdiocese of Baltimore seeks to address a key mission of the Catholic Church: the education of marginalized and disadvantaged children. Over the past 23 years, PIE has given thousands of students an opportunity for success in school and life by providing the tuition assistance needed to enroll in a Catholic school. Through the generosity of individuals, businesses and foundations, scholarship recipients receive the benefits of a sound Catholic education in a safe environment, regardless of their own religious affiliation. With a tradition of providing a strong, values-based education with high expectations for behavior and effort, Baltimore Catholic schools are setting these students on a path towards success.
