The Partnerships for Jordan's Development (PJD) Project works to enhance the capabilities and know-how of civil society organizations (CSOs) and private sector companies on how to work together to tackle Jordan's development challenges in a win-win scenarios. In other words, working together in ways where both parties benefit with the ultimate beneficiary being the communities and Jordan. Identifying the opportunities where CSO's and private sector companies can work together creates a bridge of communication thus ensuring sustainable change that addresses local challenges with local solutions as developed by local partners.\\The PJD Project aims to bring together two active and effective sectors ― civil society and the private sector ― to partner and to work together to design and implement initiatives in response to mutually-defined interests and benefits.\\This innovative model creates strategic partnerships by shifting from the common practice of mere donations to the concept of joint collaborations between different sectors resulting in sustainable societal development.\\This project is made possible by the generous support of the American people through a grant from the USAID Civic Initiatives Support Program implemented by FHI 360 with financing from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
