PeriAgronomy: Farming Smarter©—the intersection of data, agronomic insight, and field execution for efficiency and profitability.PeriAgronomy is a boutique agronomy advisory firm, offering consultation and management services, with an emphasis on Precision Agriculture (PA) methodology, low input integrated pest management (IPM), and technology assisted crop and resource management. PeriAgronomy stands apart, as the only regional Agronomy Consultation Agency offering services using geospatial technologies, including geographic information systems (GIS) and Global Positioning System (GPS), to monitor agricultural production and management activities, such as pest scouting, site-specific pesticide application, yield mapping, and variable-rate irrigation. We develop/analyze maps of client assets, and use remote sensing imagery to compare physical topography with data on soils, fertilizer, pests, or weather. PeriAgronomy's strength is in our day-to-day, on-farm experience working with farmers, and having a first-hand understanding of their needs and perspective. We are working to shift regional, and eventually "zone" agricultural farming standards toward the use of digital technologies, precision agriculture, and targeted resource use.Utilizing our extensive agronomic network and experience, we continually form new collaborations with universities, researchers, and crop solutions providers.
