About US:Pirates is a student activity founded in 2009 at the faculty of Engineering Ain shams University, we organize technical and non-technical workshops to help students discover their natural abilities and start riding the creativity road all the way to innovation.It is named after actual pirates due to the resemblance between their lifestyle and ours. We spend our time, money, and effort to discover the hidden treasures inside people.Vision: we took the first steps achieving many goals and values as much as possible.we aim to develop youth skills in thinking and generating useful ideas affect our community and implement these ideas in real projects, trying to solve some problems, on the other hand decrease the gap between these ideas and market need...planing to make the link between them, and we don't forget to learn how to deal with different personalities in an effective way, these three fields are working together to enhance our humanity & drawing our fingerprints in life.one of the most high light output in the last years that we have shortening the gap between the theoretical academic life and the practical one & increase researches skills and project management.Mission: To pass on knowledge and experience if the directions, heads and moderators to the members and participants through the training sessions for the members throughout the season and the workshops prepared and delivered by the moderators to the participants.Our Core Values:-"Innovation is power"​ Finding new ways to illustrate our educational ways and emphasize our spirit has always been our greatest asset to "Pirates"​.-"Pay it forward"​ We aim to spread knowledge and propagate it among different individuals rather than keeping it enclosed, which is achieved by our different workshops.Pirates's Main Projects and Events:1-Technates (Technical Track) :In this event, we provide engineering students with technical workshops in all departments (Mechanical- Electrical – Civil – Architecture), and finally they have all qualification and knowledge to make their real project and apply some devices.It includes:• Offline launch during the first semester.• Orientation ceremony before the beginning of the workshops.• Execution of the workshops during the mid-year vacation.• Competition between the participants after the workshops.• Closing ceremony for the project.2-Business Engineer (Non-Technical Track) :In this event, we provide students with non-technical workshops in all the aspects they need to build their own startup and aims to gain students all business experience and market needs, by making different courses covering all main business fields such as : Project management, Supply chain, Marketing, Human resources.It includes:• Offline launch during the second semester.• Orientation ceremony before the beginning of the workshops.• Execution of the workshops during the summer vacation.• Competition between the participants after the workshops.• Closing ceremony for the project.
