Poundcake Productions is an animation studio based in Belgrade. Its principal title, Goulash, is a new cartoon for adults with a fresh, satirical take on the current events and cultural phenomena which contribute to the ever-growing sense of dystopian ridiculousness in the world today.Goulash is disseminated on social media platforms and engages primarily with the millennial and Gen Z cohorts. Virality is at the heart of the project, and Goulash content is released on a hair-trigger in response to current trends and events. Goulash seeks to entertain and perhaps reassure those disillusioned by the modern world through its bold, refreshing and sometimes provocative parodies.
