I come from a family that has been prominent members of the Muslim community since the early 1970s For over 4 years I have been a noteworthy leader in the mental health space. You may know me as the founder of Quintessential Counselling but I can be credited with contributions at the MCCF. My work focuses not only on the youth but also on maternal mental health and women's issues.The heart of my work is centred on impacting lives through accessible mental health services while also providing mentorship to help provide a new generation of Muslim leaders with the desire to be open about mental health. I was given the honors of speaking at the mother daughter event put on by the Canadian Society of Fiji Muslims. It was the last time both of my grandmothers were able to attend a function to support me. My greatest achievements is my role as a wife and a mother. When I'm not serving the community, I'm is serving her family.
