Ramana Vidyalaya (RV) was established in 2005 with the aim of providing a quality education to children from varied socioeconomic backgrounds. What started off as a free after-school tuition facility for the children from those families affected by the tsunami, is now a well-established institution that provides exemplary holistic education to more than 1,100 students from diverse cultural and financial backgrounds. We believe in enabling every child to thrive under the canopy of holistic education. We believe in creating a school of dreams, where minds blossom and economic divides vanish. We at RV believe in giving equal opportunity and exposure to all, through education, without having to pay a copious sum for the same. Hence our two primary objectives are:- Providing high quality and holistic education- Ensuring that at least 25% of the students are from economically weaker backgrounds We believe in striking a fine balance between academic, co-academic and other holistic elements. Since the inception, the focus has been on providing quality education with an efficient infrastructure at a reasonable cost to our parents. The school also has a transparent and structured financial aid program to support parents from economically weaker backgrounds. RV is one of the few schools where student leadership is incorporated into the curriculum and in day to day activities.
