RIVERSIDE COMMUNITY SPORTS CLUB was formed in 2009, and are a SFA quality mark ‘Community' standard club based in the west end of Dundee who provide boys and girls with the opportunity to play football from age 5 upwards supported by suitably qualified coaches at all levels. In December 2016, Riverside Community Sports Club became a Scottish Incorporated Charity Organisation (SCIO), registration no: SC046965. The club, which is based at Riverside Playing Fields, off Riverside Drive, Dundee has Football Centres for boys and girls aged 5-8 years old who also represent the club at the Fun Fours and Super Fives sessions run by Leisure & Culture Dundee; we have four teams at three different age groups playing seven aside and four different age groups playing 11a-side in the DDYFA leagues, as well as an adult's team competing in a Saturday morning football league and a girls' youth team under development.Mission StatementRiverside Community Sports Club aims to develop the football and social skills of the children within the community whilst promoting enjoyment at all levels, teamwork and discipline within a well-structured coaching system employing best practice at all times. The popularity of the club is reflected in the number of children who join us and then wish to remain with us.
