Roni's Variety Discounts is a family operated company, started by my father, Roni and my brothers, in 1981. Over the past thirty-five years, Roni's has grown and evolved with the changing Sydney business climate. Today we have ten stores, each individually owned and operated within the family organisation.My brothers, along with Andrew Scarano, a pioneer of the Roni's team, has led the charge not only across Roni's, but also across many thriving businesses located throughout NSW. From owning and operating the popular chain of Café Ilvizio cafés, to the management of the multi award winning Eurolounge Restaurant, which was recognised in the SMH Good Food Guide. Eurolounge was also a consistent winner and finalist within The Best Formal Dining Awards and Metropolitan Dining Awards throughout 2000-2010.Andrew has also been engaged in property and commercial ventures throughout Sydney and has been at the forefront within the hospitality, retail and commercial sectors throughout Sydney for the last thirty years.Moving back into the retail market, Andrew Scarano recognised the increasing need and interest in quality homewares products. He began to differentiate from the original Roni's brand in 2011, opening his Winston Hills 480 sqm store which after initial success, helped him launch and rebrand his current operations to Roni's Home Depot in 2014. This allowed him to capitalise on providing higher quality homewares, giftware and general merchandise for our growing customer base. Andrew now has two stores operating: Winston Hills and Narellan, with our flagship 2000sqm store being Roni's Home Depot, launched in the new multimillion Narellan Town Centre in 2017. This store not only offers premium homewares, but also a fantastic range of the ever growing and popular party merchandise. 2017 has seen significant growth within the Roni's Home Depot brand, and we now look to greater growth, with more stores under the Home Depot banner opening in the near future.
