The company started as a joint venture between Dr M A Chidambaram and Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation Limited (TIDCO), a state-owned industrial development institution, on 18th Dec 1969. It was founded with the vision to produce high-quality and environment-friendly fertilisers that improve the country's agricultural output with scientific rigour. Our state-of-the-art modern fertiliser complex, producing 6.2 lakh tons of Neem Coated Urea, another 6.4 Lakh tons of Phosphatics is a torchbearer of Atmanirbhar Bharat's progress towards national farm productivity and food sufficiency.
