Sanaye Varaq Iran Group started its activity in 1985 by operating the production lines of PVC sheets. This sheets were used in many important and strategic projects in Iran.With the development of oil and construction projects in the country and the increasing need for polymer sheets made of polyethylene and polypropylene, the company's new production lines were launched in 2004 and the country's first heavy polyethylene geomembranes were introduced to the market. The production of decorative profiles made of polystyrene was the next goal of the company in line with the development of the portfolio of polymer products, which was put into operation in 2005. Provision of technical services, supply of additives for plastic industry and production of masterbatch and polymer compounds are other activities of SVI Group.گروه صنایع ورق ایران با بهرهبرداری از خطوط تولید ورقهای PVC در سال ۱۳۶۴ فعالیت خود را آغاز کرد و ورقهای تولیدی شرکت در بسیاری از پروژههای شاخص و استراتژیک ایران مورد استفاده قرار گرفت.با توسعهی پروژههای نفتی و عمرانی در کشور و نیاز بیش از پیش به ورقهای پلیمری از جنس پلیاتیلن و پلیپروپیلن، خطوط تولید جدید شرکت در سال ۱۳۸۳ راهاندازی و اولین ژئوممبران پلی اتیلن سنگین کشور به بازار ارائه گردید. تولید پروفیلهای دکوراتیو از جنس پلی استایرن هدف بعدی شرکت در راستای توسعه سبد محصولات پلیمری بود که در سال ۱۳۸۴ به بهرهبرداری رسید. ارائه خدمات فنی، تامین مواد افزودنی صنعت پلاستیک و تولید مستربچ و کامپاندهای پلیمری از دیگر فعالیتهای گروه صنایع ورق ایران است.
